CORUS ENTERTAINMENT AND COGECO INC. COMPLETE SALE OF
CORUS QUEBEC RADIO STATIONS
(Toronto and Montreal, Canada – February 1, 2011) Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX: CJR.B)
and COGECO Inc. (TSX: CGO) announced today that the sale of Corus’ Quebec radio stations
to Cogeco Inc. has been completed effective February 1, 2011.
COGECO acquired Montreal stations CKAC-AM, CFQR-FM, CHMP-F M, CKOI-FM and regional
stations CFEL-FM and CFOM-FM in Québec city, CHLN-FM in Trois-Rivières, CHLT-FM and
CKOY-FM in Sherbrooke, CIME-FM in St-Jérôme and CJRC-FM in Ottawa-Gatineau.
COGECO has confirmed that it will divest two FM radio stations in the Quebec City market
CFEL-FM and CJEC-FM and one FM station in the Sherbrooke market (Radio Sherbrooke
104.5 FM).
The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission approved the sale on
December 17, 2010.
