Footprint Through Integrated Solutions
Local Companies Partner to Deliver Unparalleled Business Services to South Florida
Customers
MIAMI—September 23, 2014 — ColoHouse, a leading provider of data center colocation and IT
infrastructure solutions today announced a partnership with Atlantic Broadband, an innovative
provider of Internet, Phone and TV services to both businesses and residents in the greater
Miami area as well as four other operating regions: Western Pennsylvania, Maryland/Delaware,
and Aiken, S.C. The partnership enables ColoHouse customers to take advantage of Atlantic
Broadband’s suite of Business Service offerings and further solidifies Atlantic Broadband as a
premier provider of communication solutions in the rapidly growing South Florida sector.
The news comes as Atlantic Broadband continues to make significant investments to enhance
its network and service portfolio to exceed the requirements of today’s sophisticated
enterprises. For example, the company recently launched an enhanced Metro Ethernet service
that scales up to 10 Gigabits per second. And earlier this year, Atlantic Broadband brought a
unique PRI and SIP trunking offering, called FlexTrunk, to its customers companywide.
As part of the partnership, ColoHouse, whose operation is presently utilized by several major
global carriers, will add Atlantic Broadband to its carrier-neutral colocation offering. Centrally
located in the heart of downtown Miami, the ColoHouse facility serves as a connectivity hub for
numerous clients, as ColoHouse’s geographical proximity to key global internet exchange points
facilitates excellent connectivity. In order to provide redundant, reliable power and critical
backup to customers, the data center is also in a Category 5 hurricane protected building and
resides outside of FEMA’s 500-year flood zone.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with ColoHouse to deliver Miami area businesses with solutions
that meet their growing needs,” said Atlantic Broadband’s Vice President and General Manager
of Commercial Services, Denise Paine. “With our focus on being a true partner for our
customers, we look forward to delighting ColoHouse customers with unmatched responsiveness
and value.”
“As more organizations rely on network connectivity to drive and support their daily operations,
the need for reliable infrastructure becomes even more critical to serving customers and
protecting the overall integrity of the business,” said ColoHouse Chief Executive Officer, Paul
Bint. “We are pleased to welcome Atlantic Broadband into the ColoHouse facility, the company’s
service offering is a wonderful addition and we look forward to providing an environment that
facilitates their continued expansion.”
