    Elizabeth Alves was named Vice President, Enterprise Strategy and Social Responsibility in June 2019. Ms. Alves joined Cogeco as Senior Director, Internal Audit, in 2008. She has also held the positions of Vice President, Internal Audit and Vice President, Internal Audit and Risk Management. Prior to joining the Company, she held various positions with ING Canada and began her career in 1995 as an auditor with Arthur Andersen. 

    Ms. Alves was  Chair of the Québec Regional Board of Canadian Women in Communications and Technology from 2014 to 2018. In June 2016, she was elected as Chair of the Board of the Fondation En Cœur, of which she has been a member since 2014.

    Philippe Bonin was named Vice President Corporate Development in 2016.  Prior to joining Cogeco he was Corporate Treasurer and Senior Director, M&A and business integration at TC Transcontinental.  Previously, he held various positions in the field of corporate finance, notably within the private equity group of the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec and at Telesystem International Wireless.  He started his career at Ernst & Young.

    Mr.Bonin holds an MBA from McGill University and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the HEC Montréal.  He is a chartered professional accountant and chartered accountant.

    Ms. Nathalie Dorval was appointed Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Copyright in September 2013. Prior to joining Cogeco, Ms. Dorval was Vice-President, Legal, Regulatory affairs and Affiliate relations at Astral Broadcasting Group inc. and then Vice-President Regulatory affairs and copyright at Astral Media Inc. Ms. Dorval is Vice Chair of the Board of The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB).

    Ms. Dorval holds a Law degree from the University of Montreal and a Master in political science from University de la Sorbonne – Paris I. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 1990.

    Chantal Frappier was named Vice President, Internal Audit in June 2019. Ms. Frappier joined Cogeco as Director, Internal Audit, in 2009 and was promoted to Senior Director in 2015.  She previously held various positions in internal audit and financial compliance with ING Canada and was Assistant Controller at Mayrand Ltd. She began her professional career as External Auditor with Ernst & Young.

    Ms. Frappier has sat on the Board of Directors of the Québec chapter of Canadian Women in Communications since 2014 and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Montréal chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors since 2017. She completed her bachelor's degree and postgraduate degree in Accounting Studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal.

    Martin Grenier was named Vice President Procurement in 2018. Prior to joining Cogeco he was successively Regional Director, Procurement Canada & Europe and Director, Procurement Strategic Programs for Rio Tinto. Previously, he held various positions in the field of procurement and logistics at Rio Tinto and Alcan, both in North America and Europe.

    Martin Grenier holds an MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from HEC Montréal.

    Stéphane Lacombe joined Cogeco as Vice President, Information Technology, in May 2019. Mr. Lacombe is responsible for developing, implementing and managing robust, innovative and state-of-the-art technologies. Before joining Cogeco, he spent more than 15 years in a variety of positions in IT and Corporate Performance and Marketing at Yellow Pages Group, rising to the position of Vice President, IT. He also worked as a consultant at Deloitte and at Anderson Consulting/Accenture. 

    He holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Ottawa.

    Marie Ginette Lepage was appointed Vice President, Wireless Solutions and Innovation, in June 2019. She is responsible for developing and delivering the wireless strategy, creating business development partnerships and alliances and identifying opportunities to develop new areas of growth. Previously, Ms. Lepage was Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Mobile Solutions, at Stingray.

    She previously worked for more than a decade at Videotron, where she held several executive roles. After managing Videotron’s mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) wireless service, she led one of the company’s most important strategic projects, the rollout of its mobile network. She also served as Vice President, Product Development as well as Vice President, Broadcasting and Content. Prior to her service with Videotron, Ms. Lepage worked for several major companies, including Alcan, TMG Solutions and Bell.

    She holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from Université de Montréal.

    Pierre Maheux has been Vice President, Corporate Controller, Cogeco Inc. since 2013. He began his career with the Company in 1988, and has been promoted several times since, holding several key positions within the group. Among others, he was Corporate Controller, Cogeco Inc., from 2000 to 2013, Corporate Controller, Cogeco Connexion, from 1996 to 1999, Assistant to the Vice President, Operations, and Human Resources Director between 1992 and 1995, as well as General Manager of a cable subsidiary from 1988 to 1991.

    He has sat on the Boards of Directors of several non-profit organizations, among them the Fondation de l’Hôpital de la Région de l’Amiante and of Residential and Long-Term Care Centres (CHSLDs). He has also been closely involved with a great many sports organizations, including as a manager and organizer of events across Canada.

    Mr. Maheux placed first in Canada in the 1985 final Finance exam of the Order of CPA/CGA.

    Andrée Pinard has been Vice President and Treasurer of Cogeco Inc. since 2011, having served as the Company’s Treasurer between 2000 and 2006 as well as its Director, Financial Planning, from 1997 to 2000. She was also Director, Treasury, of Intact Financial Corporation from 2010 to 2011 and Director, Treasury of Canada Steamship Lines Group, from 2008 to 2009. She has also worked in corporate finance with Nesbitt Burns Inc.

    Jérôme Prat joined Cogeco in 2015 as Senior Director, Total Compensation, and was appointed Vice President, Total Compensation and Human Resources Systems in July 2019. In this role, he is responsible for implementing harmonized total compensation programs and for providing seamless services to employees of the various business units and regions. Prior to joining Cogeco, he served in managerial positions in total compensation in several companies in the manufacturing, consulting engineering and telecommunications industries. He began his career as a compensation advisor with an international consultancy.

     

    Mr. Prat holds a master’s degree in human resources management from HEC Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des Conseillers en Ressources Humaines Agréés du Québec.

    Ms. Vigneault was appointed Vice President, Talent and Employee Experience, in July 2019, after serving as Vice President, Human Resources and Communications, from 2012 and Senior Director, Organizational Development, starting in 2011 with our subsidiary Cogeco Connexion. Prior to this she held various positions with RONA Inc. for almost 15 years in customer experience, talent management, succession planning and people development. She began her career in 1994 as a human resources generalist in the manufacturing industry.

     

    Since 2016, Ms. Vigneault has been a member of the prestigious Top 25 HR Professionals in Canada, published annually by Canadian HR Reporter magazine. She holds the designation of Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), and earned a master’s of business administration (MBA) from McGill University-HEC Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from Université de Montréal.
