INTERNET TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AND NET NEUTRALITY

Cogeco is a strong supporter of net-neutrality. Amongst other things, one of our subsidiaries, Cogeco Connexion, is challenging a provincial legislation that would have the effect of obliging Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block certain websites. In addition, Cogeco does not engage in blocking, throttling, priorisation, sponsored data, zero rating or any other Internet traffic management practices unless compelled to do so by a court order.
