Cogeco Cable restructures Marketing and Strategic Planning department

Montréal, September 17, 2012 Ron Perrotta, VicePresident, Marketing and Str ategic Planning,
Cogeco Cable, today announced that his department has adopted a new organizational structure
aimed at driving greater marketing efficiency for the company’s residential services. Marketing
operations in this business segment will now revolve around two strategic focuses: Customer and
Product.
Taking responsibility for the Customer unit will be Anne Isabelle Roussy, who is promoted to the
positionofSeniorDirector,CustomerMarketingande Business. She assumesmanagementofoverall
strategygovernance aswellascustomeracquisitionandmarketingoperationsforcurrentclientele,via
the full range of residential services marketing channels, and will also head the company’s Web and
socialnetworkingstrategydevelopment.Inaddition,shewillsupporttheBusinessSolutions,Corporate
CommunicationsandHumanResourcesgroupsinapplyingtheirstrategiestoCogecoCable’sWeband
social media platforms. Ms.Roussy has more than 15 years’ experience in marketing management
(marketing communications, research, strategic planning, Web and ecommerce) both with
telecommunicationscompaniesandinaconsulting capacity,alongwithpriorexperienceinthegraphic
communicationsfield. She joined Cogecoin2008,whenshe was tasked with setting up the Web and
interactiveapplicationsteam.
MarieClaude Caron is appointed to the position of Director, Acquisition and Customer Base
Marketing. Reporting to Ms.Roussy, she will oversee all customer acquisition and marketing
campaigns for residential services as well as handle communicationsand marketingdevelopment for
the Business Solutions group. Ms.Caron has 23 years of experience in
marketing management,
specifically in product management and marketing communications, in the fields of consumer goods
andtelecommunicationsforbothresidentialandbusinessservices.ShejoinedCogecoin2002.
Rachel Blain is promoted to the position of Senior Director, Product Management. She will be
responsible for ensuring the competitiveness of residential services,
and her duties will include
development of service bundles, pricing and promotional strategy, along with management of the
residential services portfolio, rates and service profitability, product positioning, and sales channels
training. Ms. Blain has 22 years of diversified marketing management experience in the
telecommunicationsindustry,encompassing services for residential,business andwholesalemarkets,
includingnineyearswithCogecoinresidentialservicesproductdevelopmentandmanagement.
