Cogeco Cable now offering the EXPLORA Channel
Montréal, April 16, 2012 – Cogeco Cable Inc. (TSX: CCA) announced it is carrying the French-
language EXPLORA Channel. All Cogeco Cable Digital TV customers in Québec have free access
to the new Radio-Canada specialty channel. Available on channel 86, EXPLORA will be in freeview
until July 2, 2012. At the end of the freeview period, Cogeco Cable customers will be able to add the
channel to their Franco or Selectif package.
Cogeco has once again focused on offering its customers high-quality French-language content
by adding Explora, an all new specialty channel that combines the very best in science,
environmental, nature and health programming. Designed for curious viewers of all ages avid
for discovery, the new francophone channel airs fascinating series and spectacular
documentaries that tak e audiences to t he farthest reache s of the pla net.

The standard version of the EXPLORA channel is available in most Québec markets.
