Cogeco Cable Canada: proud partner of Drummondville’s 200th
anniversary celebrations
Montréal, February 24, 2015 – The year 2015 is a very important one for the city of
Drummondville, which proudly celebrates its 200th anniversary. Cogeco Cable Canada, firmly
established in the Drummondville community for 27 years, is pleased to announce it is making a
contribution valued at more than $80,000 to mark this significant milestone and support various
200th anniversary activities.
“We are very proud to have Cogeco taking part in Drummondville’s 200th anniversary
celebrations,” says Richard Voyer, Chair of Drummondville’s 200th anniversary committee. “An
integral part of our municipality, Cogeco has helped develop a range of projects that engage our
residents and build a sense of community.”
The anniversary festivities will give Drummondville’s residents the opportunity to highlight their
history, tenacity, determination and successes. Cogeco Cable Canada sincerely hopes that
these celebrations are a memorable success and become a part of the city’s history.

Cogeco Cable Canada’s contribution has so far helped to set up the family area at
Drummondville sur son 31, the official launch of the year’s celebrations on December 31, 2014.
The company will also take part in the Fête de la musique event, which will be held on June 21.
