RESIGNATION OF ACTING PRESIDENT OF COGECO DATA SERVICES

Resignation of Acting President of Cogeco Data Services
Montréal, Canada. — June 2, 2009 — Mr. Louis Audet, President and CEO of Cogeco Cable
announced today the resignation of Mr. Ian Collins, Acting President, Cogeco Data Services.
Mr. Collins has decided to pursue new career goals, and will remain in place until June 24,
2009.
“Cogeco Data Services is a solid and promising business and we will work with the team in
place to continue to develop our service offering. The Company continues to deliver results and
consistently meet the critical needs of its customers. I want to thank Mr. Collins for his
contribution to Cogeco Data Services and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours,”
said Mr. Audet.
Mr. Louis Audet will be acting as President of Cogeco Data Services during the recruitment
process, currently underway, and an announcement will be made in due course.
