Cogeco Cable Upgrades its High Definition TV Services in Québec

une 5, 2007 – Cogeco Cable (TSX: CCA) today announced the launch of six new High
Definition (HD) channels to its Québec channel line-up, including two French Québec channels.
“Our customers are increasingly interested in our HD television service as they discover the
outstanding quality this technology offers. As the number of available high definition programs and
channels increases, Cogeco Cable strives to continuously provide the best possible HD
experience” declared Mr. Ron Perrotta, Vice President, Marketing of Cogeco Cable.
In the wide majority of Cogeco Cable systems in Québec, HD customers will be offered even more
entertainment, information, sports and TV hits with the exceptional quality of image and sound of
HD Television with the introduction of six new channels:
• TQS-CFJP (position 502);
• TVA-CTM (position 503);
• ABC-WXYZ (position 530);
• CBS-WWJ (position 531);
• FOX-WJBK (position 532);
• NBC-WDIV (position 533).
For Québec customers who already subscribe to the standard definition version of these new HD
channels and who the pay the $2.99 monthly HD Access Fee, no additional charges will be
required to access these six new HD channels.
Customers appreciate the variety, quality and control that Cogeco Cable’s Digital Television
service provides them. The service has been gaining popularity with more than 80,000 new
customers in fiscal 2006.
