Cogeco Cable Inc. now listed on the Jantzi Social Index
Montreal, May 13, 2014 – Cogeco Cable Inc. ( TSX : CCA) is pleased to announce that it is now listed on
the Jantzi Social Index (JSI)®, a market capitalization-weighted common stock index modeled on the
S&P/T SX 60, as of April 1, 2014. The highly regarded index ranks Cogeco Cable Inc. in the top quartile
of its peer group.
The JSI® consists of 60 Canadian companies that passed a set of broadly based environmental, social,
and governance rating criteria. The analysis highlights Cogeco Cable Inc.’s implementation of relatively
strong policies and management systems to ensure customer data security and privacy. It also
underlines the company’s engagement with key suppliers regarding its social and environmental
performance, as well as its current revision of its procurement practices to take such performance into
account.
