SCHEDULE RELEASE OF FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE
FOURTH QUARTER OF FISCAL 2006 AND RELATED CONFERENCE CALL
Montreal, September 14, 2006 – COGECO Inc. and Cogeco Cable Inc. plan to release their financial
results for the fourth quarter ended August 31, 2006 on Monday, October 16, 2006 in the morning.
The companies will hold a conference call Monday October 16 at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) to
discuss their financial and operating results. A live webcast will be available on Cogeco’s web site at

. The webcast will be available on Cogeco’s website for a three-month period.
