    Philippe Jetté was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Cogeco Inc. and of Cogeco Communications Inc. in September 2018.

    Mr. Jetté was previously President of Cogeco Peer 1 as of October 2015. Before that, he was Senior Vice President, Chief Technology and Strategy Officer of Cogeco Communications Inc. starting in 2013 and served as the Company’s Vice President, Chief Technology Officer from 2011 to 2013.

    With more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Jetté combines practical technological know-how, mastery of complex network engineering, years of strategic planning, and experience in development, marketing and sales with an extensive knowledge of the market.

    Prior to joining Cogeco, Mr. Jetté was President, PJCS Inc. between 2008 and 2011. He served as Vice President, Wireless Data Solutions, Bell Canada between 2006 and 2008, as well as General Manager, Enterprise Marketing between 2005 and 2006 and Director, Wireless Technology between 2000 and 2005 for Bell Mobility.

    Mr. Jetté holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique (Montréal) where he acts as a Governor of the Alumni Association.

    Michel Lorrain was appointed President of Cogeco Media in September 2018.

    After working at Cogeco for nearly 11 years, Mr. Lorrain was named Executive Vice President of Cogeco Media in July 2017, where he was in charge of the programming and operations of the company’s network of 13 talk and music radio stations. He had previously held several roles at Cogeco Media including Director of Programming at FM93 in Québec City, General Manager of 98,5 in Montréal and Vice President of the talk radio network. He was also responsible for the successful launch of the Radio Circulation station and the Cogeco Nouvelles news agency in 2011. Mr. Lorrain began his career as a journalist in 1985 covering the Bas St-Laurent and Estrie regions and Trois-Rivières. He became Astral Group’s General News Director and Astral Media’s Vice President of Regional Stations, and had a brief stint in television as Director of the Argent channel and Deputy Director of LCN at TVA Group.

    René Guimond has been Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications of Cogeco Inc., since 2010. His previous roles with the Company had been Vice President, Development, New Media, for Cogeco Communications Inc., since 2008, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cogeco Radio-Télévision Inc. and TQS Inc. between 2005 and 2008.

    Prior to joining Cogeco, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the 2005 FINA World Aquatics Championships, President and COO of TQS Inc. from 2002 to 2003 and President and CEO of the same company from 1998 to 2002, Executive Vice President and General Manager of BCP from 1995 to 1997, President and co-founder of Promo Marketing Canada Inc. from 1986 to 1994, and Vice President, Marketing and Public Affairs, Club de baseball Les Expos de Montréal Inc., from 1981 to 1986. He began his career in advertising, first with BCP from 1976 to 1979, then with Cockfield Brown between 1979 and 1981.

    Mr. Guimond is a member of the Assembly of the Université de Sherbrooke and of the Québec Film and Television Council’s Cinema and Television Cluster Steering Committee. He also sits on the board of directors of Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) and The Cogeco Fund.

    He sat on the Board of Directors of the Sainte-Justine Foundation, the Board of Directors of Parc Jean-Drapeau, and was a member of the Board of Governors of the Mayor of Montreal’s Youth Foundation.

    René Guimond was awarded the title of Ambassador by the Université de Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Administration in 2013.

    Christian Jolivet joined the Company in 1997 as Director, Legal Affairs and has held various positions since then. In 2002, he became Chief Legal Officer, supervising all legal activities of Cogeco Inc. and Cogeco Communications Inc., as well as their respective business units. Since 2002, he has also been Corporate Secretary of the Boards of Directors of Cogeco Inc. and Cogeco Communications Inc. In 2013, Mr. Jolivet also took on the role of Vice President of Corporate Affairs of Cogeco Inc. and Cogeco Communications Inc.

    Before joining the company, he practiced law in a firm specialized in communications law.

    Mr. Jolivet received the 2012 Québec Corporate Counsel Award in the category Accomplishment, Business Strategy.

    Mr. Noiseux was named Senior Vice President and Chief Technology and Strategy Officer in August 2016, He has more than 20 years of broad experience in communications, defining and promoting vision, leading execution, and delivering large, cutting-edge technology programs to market. Most recently, he was Vice President Research & Development at Accedian Networks, where he was responsible for the Chief of Technology office and for all research and development, as well as championing the introduction of a process to define, control, and communicate technology and product roadmaps across the corporation. Previously, Mr. Noiseux has also held several research and development roles at Alcatel-Lucent. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Telecommunications from the Université du Québec’s Institut national de la recherche scientifique as well as a dual eMBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Université Paris Dauphine.

    Ms. Nyisztor was named Vice President, Corporate Human Resources in 2014. Prior to joining Cogeco, she served as Partner, International Executive Services at KPMG Canada. Previously, she held several executive positions with SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., notably as Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources and Senior Vice President, Compensation and Benefits. Ms. Nyisztor also served as Senior Principal, International Executive Services at KPMG, where she spent more than a decade after joining in 1989. She sits on the Board of Directors of Saputo Inc.

    She holds a Human Resources and Compensation Committee Certificate from McMaster University, a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Concordia University. Ms. Nyisztor also has the designations of Certified Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant.

    Mr. Ouimet joined Cogeco in 2014 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Cogeco, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Enerkem Inc. He also served as Vice President, Corporate Development and Enterprise Risk Management at Gildan Activewear Inc. Mr. Ouimet worked for the previous ten years in various roles in the investment banking sector at Lazard Limited and at CIBC World Markets Inc. In addition, he currently serves as a board member of the Montreal General Hospital Foundation.

    Mr. Ouimet holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University. He is a chartered professional accountant and chartered accountant.

    Elizabeth Alves has been Cogeco Inc.’s Vice President, Internal Audit and Risk Management, since 2014. She had previously served as Vice President, Internal Audit from 2011 to 2014, and as Senior Director, Internal Audit, from 2008 to 2011. Prior to joining the Company, she held various positions with ING Canada, from Senior Internal Auditor in 1998 to Director, Internal Audit, in 2007. She began her career in 1995 as an external auditor with Arthur Andersen, where in 1997 she was promoted to Senior External Auditor.

    Ms. Alves is Chair of the Québec Regional Board of Canadian Women in Communications and Technology.

    In June 2016, she was elected as President of the Board of the Fondation En Cœur, of which she has been a member since 2014.

    Philippe Bonin was named Vice President Corporate Development in March 2016.  Prior to joining Cogeco he was Corporate Treasurer and Senior Director, M&A and business integration at TC Transcontinental.  Previously, he held various positions in the field of corporate finance, notably within the private equity group of the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec and at Telesystem International Wireless.  He started his career at Ernst & Young.

    Mr.Bonin holds an MBA from McGill University and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the HEC Montréal.  He is a chartered professional accountant and chartered accountant.

    Ms. Nathalie Dorval was appointed Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Copyright in September 2013. Prior to joining Cogeco, Ms. Dorval was Vice-President, Legal, Regulatory affairs and Affiliate relations at Astral Broadcasting Group inc. and then Vice-President Regulatory affairs and copyright at Astral Media Inc. Ms. Dorval is Chair of the board of The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB).

    Ms. Dorval holds a Law degree from the University of Montreal and a Master in political science from University de la Sorbonne – Paris I. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 1990.

    Martin Grenier was named Vice President Procurement in January 2018. Prior to joining Cogeco he was successively Regional Director, Procurement Canada & Europe and Director, Procurement Strategic Programs for Rio Tinto. Previously, he held various positions in the field of procurement and logistics at Rio Tinto and Alcan, both in North America and Europe.

    Martin Grenier holds an MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from HEC Montréal.

    Pierre Maheux has been Vice President, Corporate Controller, Cogeco Inc. since 2013. He began his career with the Company in 1988, and has been promoted several times since, holding several key positions within the group. Among others, he was Corporate Controller, Cogeco Inc., from 2000 to 2013, Corporate Controller, Cogeco Connexion, from 1996 to 1999, Assistant to the Vice President, Operations, and Human Resources Director between 1992 and 1995, as well as General Manager of a cable subsidiary from 1988 to 1991.

    He has sat on the Boards of Directors of several non-profit organizations, among them the Fondation de l’Hôpital de la Région de l’Amiante and of Residential and Long-Term Care Centres (CHSLDs). He has also been closely involved with a great many sports organizations, including as a manager and organizer of events across Canada.

    Mr. Maheux placed first in Canada in the 1985 final Finance exam of the Order of CPA/CGA.

    Andrée Pinard has been Vice President and Treasurer of Cogeco Inc. since 2011, having served as the Company’s Treasurer between 2000 and 2006 as well as its Director, Financial Planning, from 1997 to 2000. She was also Director, Treasury, of Intact Financial Corporation from 2010 to 2011 and Director, Treasury of Canada Steamship Lines Group, from 2008 to 2009. She has also worked in corporate finance with Nesbitt Burns Inc.
