NEW APP PROVIDES ACCESS TO SIX TIMES MORE PREMIUM CONTENT FOR EPIX SUBSCRIBERS
QUINCY, Mass., January 24, 2017 – Atlantic Broadband, the nation's 9th largest cable operator, today announced the launch of a new EPIX set-top box app, available immediately to any Atlantic Broadband customers with a TiVo device and EPIX premium channel access. Atlantic Broadband is the first cable company to offer the new EPIX app, which provides customers with nearly six times more content from premium entertainment network EPIX than previously available.
Atlantic Broadband customers with TiVo and EPIX now have streaming access to EPIX original series and documentaries along with thousands of movie titles available on-demand through the app. With access to EPIX’s library of more than 2,000 Hollywood movies, customers can view titles that include major franchises like The Hunger Games, James Bond and Star Trek. Also available are original documentaries, music and comedy events and more.

Among the additional key new features available through the app are EPIX content-forward UX, the ability to add content to a personal queue, content available for free sampling, curated collections, advanced search and video playback features and Rotten Tomatoes scores and trailers.
