COGECO CABLE ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF INTERNAL CORPORATE REORGANIZATION

Cogeco Cable announces completion
of internal corporate reorganization
Montréal, September 1, 2009 — Cogeco Cable Inc. (TSX: CCA) ("Cogeco Cable")
today announced the completion of an internal corporate reorganization of certain of its
subsidiaries (the “Reorganization”) pursuant to which (i) substantially all of t he activities
of Cogeco Cable Québec Inc. were transferred to Cogeco Cable Québec General
Partnership (a newly formed general partnership); (ii) substantially all of the activities of
Cogeco Cable Canada Inc. were transferred to Cogeco Cable Canada LP (a newly
formed limited partnership); and (iii) substantially all of the activities of Cogeco Data
Services Inc. were transferred to Cogeco Data Services LP (a newly formed limited
partnership).
