MIAMI April 27, 2017 – Today, Atlantic Broadband, the nation's 9th largest cable operator, added new international channels to its Miami footprint with content offerings provided by International Media Distribution (IMD), a leading provider of in-language television programming in the U.S.

The new international networks will provide Atlantic Broadband’s Miami customers top quality entertainment and news in French (TV5MONDE), Russian (THT, RTN) and German (DW Deutsch+). This launch also marks the first U.S. entry for Russia’s leading entertainment channel, THT.

“Miami is one of the most culturally diverse areas in the United States, and we are excited to continue to add channels that reflect and embrace the diversity of our customers,” said Atlantic Broadband’s Vice President and General Manager in Florida, Elizabeth Michelsen. “These new foreign language programming options enable Atlantic Broadband customers in our Miami footprint the opportunity to view their favorite international movies, news, sports, soap operas, and family entertainment.”

“We are excited to partner with Atlantic Broadband to provide some of the best international programming to their customers in Miami Beach.  We’re confident that TV5MONDE, THT, RTN, and DW (Deutsch+) will be a welcomed addition to Atlantic Broadband’s lineup for current and future subscribers,” said Michael Scott, Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing at International Media Distribution.

The new channels are available a la carte for $9.99 each and can be added to any video service package or promotional bundle.
